In this episode, Bosch Automotive Aftermarket’s Fred Padgett discusses the effects of having metal shavings in or around your Diesel Fuel Injectors for 2013 to 2018 Ram 2500, 3500 and 4500 trucks.
With the help of a Bosch Diagnostics Scan Tool (ADS625X) the user can pinpoint EXACTLY what is causing the check engine light to come on in Ram trucks. Once the issue has been defined with the accurate DTC code, take a second to inspect the diesel fuel injectors for any metal shavings to prevent any short circuiting.
